About you

Essential Skills
- Qualified ACA or ACCA
- Two years of post qualification experience in a mid to small accountancy business
- IT literate, ideally with experience of SAGE, IRIS, Xero and QuickBooks, but with a track record of using many different accounting systems
- Ability to build relationships and trust with clients and colleagues
Responsibilities
- Preparation and presentation of year end accounts, management accounts and business tax computations
- Preparation of forecasts and budgets
- Personal tax computations
- Audit experience
- Financial Direction/Business advisory: Working with clients to produce action plans and budgets and hold them accountable to help them increase the value of their businesses
- Liaising with clients and answering their general business and accounting questions
- Recruitment and management of a team of accounting staffLiaison with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Representing Northern Tonic in front of existing and prospective clients in person, by telephone or written communications
